Kaleb researched, visited, and- when possible- photographed historical county sites. He created a video and won 2nd place in a countywide video production contest. Sammi researched her favorite musician. Sarah researched Tehama County’s water resources and created a Powerpoint to present her information. She also made a model showing how wells work. Shena taught the group about different breeds of rabbits and what they’re used for. Kaitlyn researched the origins of make up. Aspyn wants to help deliver babies when she grows up. So she learned all about OB-GYN nurses and the training required to become a nurse. Michael used the information from his research report sharing about the origin or cell phones. Daniel displayed different knots he learned to tie for Boy Scouts and instructed what each knot is used for. Jessi wanted to learn more about Sacagawea. Cole went to Mount Lassen and Woodson Lake to search for animal prints. He took pictures, sketched them and then researched what animal made the prints. Casi wanted to learn everything there is to know about Mickey Mouse. Cooper shared his Brain Gym exercises with the group. Katey learned about Snake Charmers. Maddie became an expert on making kool aid play-dough and mixing primary colors. Kieley is curious about everything! She came up with a list of 100 questions to see if her classmates, parents and friends could answer them. Jasmine taught the group how to milk a goat!
