Lincoln Street Independent School recently wrapped up their P.E. program with family P.E. at Tehama Family Fitness Center. In addition to teaching students how to warm up and use the equipment at the gym, instructor Kevin Weaver also worked with students on ways to exercise at home without gym equipment.
“Our goal with family P.E. is to get kids and their families working together on being active and healthy while also keeping it fun and exciting,” said Christi Deveraux. In addition to the work they do at the fitness center, students also have the chance to build skills in specific sports, such as hockey, lacrosse, tennis and volleyball.
